Meet NERISSA
Hi there! I’m Nerissa, the founder and creative director of Hartree Designs. With 6 years of experience in the design industry, my passion has always been to support small businesses with branding and web solutions.
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had a deep love for the arts – from piano lessons to painting in art class. I realized that I could use this passion for creating to make a positive impact in the community.
In 2011, I enrolled in the graphic design program at the Visual College of Arts and Design in Vancouver, and later in 2017, I pursued further studies in Digital Media and IT with a focus on software development at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in Edmonton.
In 2019, I married the love of my life and during the wedding planning process, I had some eye-opening realizations about the wedding industry. Firstly, there was a growing need for more local creatives. Secondly, I was inspired by the amazing women behind many of the wedding businesses. And thirdly, I felt incredibly energized by it all!
So here we are, extending a helping hand. It would be an honour to work alongside you and transform your ideas into a successful visual language.
